Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and White Star Web Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, a company incorporated in Sri Lanka, for the use of TaxFlow.

The service

TaxFlow reads invoices from the accounting software or files you connect, checks them against the tax invoice requirements in Gazette Extraordinary No. 2481/22 and issues tax invoices, credit notes and debit notes in that format. TaxFlow does not change your accounting records.

Your responsibilities

• The information on your tax documents, including TINs, descriptions, amounts, exchange rates and dates, comes from you and your books. You are responsible for its accuracy and for your tax filings.
• TaxFlow is not tax or legal advice. Please have a qualified accountant review your setup.
• Keep your password and API keys safe, and only invite people who should have access.
• Use TaxFlow lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer it.

Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed in Sri Lankan rupees through PayHere, monthly or yearly in advance, or monthly in arrears per active client for the Practice plan. Prices may change with 30 days’ notice. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for cancellations.

Your data

You own your data. We process it to provide TaxFlow as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export issued documents at any time.

Availability

We aim for TaxFlow to be available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features that depend on third parties, such as Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Odoo, WhatsApp, PayHere or the IRD e-invoicing system, depend on those services.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses, penalties or lost profits.

Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or fail to pay after notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Colombo have jurisdiction.
